We were surprised this year by an early frost in October so I scrambled to load up my greenhouse. I have left the greenhouse idle for months since nothing would grow in the heat. I think the benefit to that is I’ll bet the pests are gone! I sprayed my organic remedies starting on day one and will continue to spray weekly to keep nasty pests like spider mites, leaf miners, and annoying gnats under control. I already see a lizard living in there so I am careful to avoid disturbing it when taking care of my greenhouse.
The extra shade cloth on the end of my greenhouse is for my fiddle leaf figs to give them extra protection from the sun. I have a video on how I managed to buy a small pot with four fiddle leaf fig trees and managed to divide them into 4 separate pots. So far they are doing very well.
