Peppers,Tomatoes and Pansies

We have a little bit of everything happening this week. The weather is changing, bringing with it a refreshing breeze that signals the transition of the seasons. While we have been picking tomatoes lately, I get the feeling they have just gotten started! I see lots of little green tomatoes hanging delicately from their vines, promising a bountiful harvest in the not-too-distant future. The canna lilies are growing nicely, and they are about to send up more blooms that will surely brighten our garden. The pansies have started blooming again in response to the warming trend this week.

The Hirros Tomato Experiment Results are in

This is the update on the grocery store Hiiros tomato experiment and a few other things in the greenhouse! Over the past few weeks, we’ve been closely monitoring the growth and health of the Hiiros tomatoes, which are known for their exceptional flavor and vibrant color. The vines are pretty uniform and disease-resistant, with about 3 different tomato shapes. I will keep seeds from the best vines and grow them again. Everyone who has tried them loves them. My husband is very choosy about tomatoes, and they got two thumbs up from him.
