The original Cultivar seeds grown.
The results of gathered seeds grown resulted in variety. solids, blue, purple, and blizzard blues, and purples. I tie blooms but still get some diversity.
Expecting carbon copies of the original Sazanami is a bit too idealistic. Here we have a solid. It lacks the dominant blizzard and ray genes. They either have the ray and blizzard genes or they do not.
With some work selecting and tying blooms in 2008 I came up with Sazanami 2 Mix.

This is not second-day color. This is a lavender blizzard Sazanami.
