I am trying Orange Flash calendula and a few other cold hardy flowers to see if covering to protect from the occasional frost will result in a spring show of blooms. I am also planting species tulips to see how that goes.

I grew this one from seeds and found out that while the parent had a pink to white color change in the day old blooms this one has a dark pink to light pink change.
